Before installing on Windows

The installer needs administrator permission to install Chocon and create a separate Windows learning account.
If this computer is using a standard account, Windows will ask for an administrator account password.
If you do not have an administrator password, ask the computer owner or IT manager to install Chocon.

The current release supports Windows 10 22H2 and Windows 11 24H2/25H2, Home or Pro, 64-bit. Update Windows before installing.

Choose Apple Silicon, Intel, or the dedicated Catalina build for older Macs.

Use Apple menu > About This Mac to check the chip and macOS version. Intel Macs on macOS 12 or later use Intel (x64), not Catalina.

The Windows Home/Pro 64-bit versions listed above; macOS 12+ or Intel Macs on macOS 10.15. 8 GB RAM recommended.

A stable internet connection for sign-in and content and schedule sync

Use the official download page and check the version and system requirements before opening the installer.

Download from chocon.net or official release links.
Use the SHA-256 checksum in the release details to verify the downloaded file when needed.
For a school- or company-managed computer, ask its administrator to help with installation.
